Argumentaire
La situation précaire de la communauté des Yézidis (et les autres minorités) dans les régions kurdophones est très connue dans la presse, mais leur histoire et foi restent largement méconnues au public général. Cette manifestation internationale affiche les recherches actuelles qui fassent la lumière sur quelques aspects des dynamiques religieuses et culturelles des Yézidis (principalement). L’objective y est de fournir au public intéressé un contexte qui permette de mieux comprendre les traditions des Yézidis.
The predicament of the Yezidi community (and other minorities) in the Kurdish speaking regions has been extensively covered in the media, but their history and beliefs are not very well known to the general public. This scholarly gathering presents the current researches that may shed light on some aspects of the religious and cultural dynamics of the Yezidis notably. The objective is to provide the interested audience a background that may aid to our understanding of the Yezidi traditions.
